Bachelor Nation is ready to kick off 2018 with Janu-Arie! Kendall Long is on The Bachelor 2018 hoping to be the one to call herself Arie Luyendyk’s fiancée at the end of it.
Get the roses, wine, and viewing parties into high gear! The Bachelor is back in Janu-Arie. Among the lovely bevy of beauties this season is the stunning Kendall Long. #1. Who is Kendall Long?
26-year-old Kendall Long from Santa Clarita, California has a long association with the world of TV. According to her ABC bio, she is currently working as a creative director at WhoHaha.
The company is a content creation and distribution platform for female comedians co-founded by 30 Rock actress, Elizabeth Banks. Long runs the art department, particularly the set design.
She was a production assistant at the Discovery Digital Network. She started her career as a set dresser at TLC and worked on Not Safe with Nikki Glaser. Her LinkedIn also lists MTV’s Ridiculousness and Kardashian’s 10-year anniversary special. Given her connection to reality shows, we can expect she knows a thing or two about drama.
#2. She Taught Video Production
She studied multimedia communications and broadcasting television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and has skills in video production. It was her skills that landed her an intern position for TNT’s Rizzoli and Isles by Warner Bros. Production.
She also taught high school video production classes, was an assistant videographer at ADB Studios, had a small stint as an actress on the Food Network, and was a correspondent for K-Art News.
#3. She Loves Stuffed Animals
Before you start thinking about cute and cuddly stuffed animals, stop right there. Kendall Long is a collector of taxidermy animals. For the unaware, it is the science of preserving an animal’s body for display like trophy animals.
One look at Kendall’s Instagram, you’d see her falling in love with a gigantic stuffed giraffe and asking name suggestions for her stuffed seal. She also has a bird skull. Umm….okay….
As per her bio, the most romantic gift she ever received is when her ex-boyfriend gave her an alligator hand holding an iron heart in a jar, “I collect taxidermy so it was sweet to me.”
Just so you know, she also showers her love on live animals, especially her adorable dog. Her dream is to go to a hedgehog cafe in Japan and to hang out with pigs in the Bahamas. Both would make a great episode on The Bachelor.
#4. She’s a Singer
Kendall has a YouTube channel where she posts videos of her singing. She has both covers and originals , performed with her ukulele for accompaniment. Maybe she could serenade Arie on the show!
She hasn’t shared a new song in a while but perhaps she might after wrapping up The Bachelor. Even if she doesn’t win, we’re sure a music career could soon come calling.
