Kelsi Taylor was born on October 26, 1998 and is from Nevada. Massachusetts native Dane Cook was born on March 18, 1972, making him 26 years her senior.

Taylor is the youngest of three children in her family. Her brother is 10 years old than her and her sister is 13 years older. Nonetheless, she’s very close to her siblings.

Wanting to pursue a career in music, Taylor left Nevada for California when she was 12.

Taylor Quit College to Pursue Music

Kelsi decided at a young age that she would be a musician. From the looks of her old social media posts, she’s been singing on stage since she was a teen.

After graduating from high school at 16, she enrolled in college. However, college didn’t fit into her plans and she dropped out, got a job, and focused on music.

It worked out well for Taylor, who released her first EP, Fear of Yourself, in 2018. She also occasionally shares song covers on her YouTube channel.

A former backup singer, she performed with Demi Lovato at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert in 2017 and during the American Music Awards.

A certified Pilates instructor, Taylor also shares some workout videos on her channel.

Taylor and Cook Have Been Dating Since 2017

The singer-songwriter and the comedian began appearing on each other’s Instagram accounts in 2017. In an Instagram Q&A, Dane Cook said he met his girlfriend at a game night he hosted at his house. “We were friends for a while & soon after fell in like with each and then upgraded to love,” said Cook.

The criticism about their large age gap doesn’t discourage this couple. Even their respective families approve of their relationship.

Cook has on more than one occasion gushed about Kelsi on Instagram. On their two-year anniversary in May, he wrote, “When I met Kelsi I had zero idea I was actually meeting my best friend. I’ve never felt so loved & I’ve never been able to give the amount of love that I can with her.”
