It seems a little ironic to see an actor who played the role of a vampire post inspirational quotes and messages of faith to his fans. But in real life, Kellan Lutz is nothing like his former alter-ego for which he got famous—the strong, hot-headed vampire from the Twilight series, Emmett Cullen. The 30-year-old shared a string of positive and motivational sayings to his Twitter account, what with it being Thanksgiving today.
Some of our favorites from what the Hercules actor posted are:
- “Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions – Dalai Lama.”
- “When someone else’s happiness is your happiness, that’s love.”
- “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.”
- “What lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. -Ralph Waldo Emerson.”
All dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

However, there was one in particular that Lutz replied to, and it left us speechless. The quote asked an important question: “If you’re always racing to the next moment, what happens to the one you’re in?” to which he simply replied, “Live in the moment…”
In his movies as well, Lutz has been channelling heroic personalities, and the latest one, Extraction, alongside Die Hard legend Bruce Willis, showcases him as quite the badass. The first trailer of the movie, which was released last week, shows Lutz’s character, Harry Turner, defying all the rules to hunt down his missing father, Leonard (played by Willis), who is a retired CIA agent who has been kidnapped by terrorists. The movie is a promising thriller and hits theaters on December 18.
