Katy Perry’s Shoe Line is Finally Here! Check Out Her Adorable Video Announcement!

Katy Perry

It’s Thursday February 16 and you know what that means! Katy Perry’s shoe line is here and there’s even one particular shoe named after a certain Democratic politician! The singer has been hinting at her shoe line for a while now and the moment is finally here!

Katy Perry’s Instagram Message

Just recently, the “Firework” singer took to her personal Instagram account to announce the official arrival of her Katy Perry shoe designs. Perry is one of few celebs who know how to rock a bold fashion choice and we can’t think of anyone better to design their own shoe brand with her sense of style. Celebs designing shoes is nothing new—lots of women are still wearing Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe line! Perry has designed everything from sandals to casual shoes to pumps and has added her own twist of style to them, which naturally reflects her personality.

“The collection has several themes,” she told E! News. “There’s a star and moon group called ‘SOLEstial’. ‘Havana Good Time’ came from a trip I took to Cuba with my girlfriends and then we have a ‘Pump Up the Jam’, which is a bit ‘90s-based.” Check out her adorable Instagram video below, where she announces to fans that her shoe line is finally available!

Katy Perry’s Hillary Clinton Shoe

The “Chained to the Rhythm” singer has one shoe that was inspired by someone who inspires her: former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton. Perry has been a fierce and loyal supporter of Clinton, ever since she announced her bid for president. She was by her side every step of the way, even rallying other celebrity supporters to jump on board. So, it’s no surprise to anyone that she would design a shoe after her role model. The “Hillary” is a plush-pink pump with a Lucite heel filled with small gold stars. Perry’s shoes are mostly named after her female friends, so naturally she couldn’t leave Clinton out! The shoe collection prices range from $59.00 to $299.00 and are available now.
