Katherine said how she “didn’t feel good about” her performance in the hit TV series, which is the main reason she opted out of being nominated for an Emmy. The success of Grey’s Anatomy is credited to its talented ensemble cast of which Heigl was one of the leads. She told Stern she had made amends with Shonda Rimes, the series’ showrunner, by apologizing to her for the Emmy controversy.

Then, the 37-year-old actress told Stern about her relationship with Knocked Up coworkers Seth Rogen and director Judd Apatow. Stern reminded her that during the release of the movie in 2007, Heigl’s interview for Vanity Fair promoted the movie in a negative shade as the actress had said how the movie was “a little sexist.”

Heigl then revealed that this was the main reason why Rogen and Apatow haven’t really spoken to her after the movie. Heigl even believes that Rogen was “mad” at her for this, to which Stern asked if there could be another movie starring the two of them. Heigl loved the idea and even said she would like to apologize publicly to her Knocked Up colleagues and bury the hatchet with any other people she may have hurt in the past.
