High School Love

Like his bandmates, Horan had a girlfriend in high school, who he broke up with before debuting on The X Factor. He dated Holly Scaly pre-fame, and according to his ex, Horan felt bad about ending their relationship and kept apologizing. They still keep in touch.

Are They, Or Aren’t They?

This one was a little tricky. Speculations claim that Horan dated Ellie Goulding for a while! Goulding claims they weren’t in a relationship, but admitted to going “on a few dates” with the boyband crooner. The problem is, when she went on these dates with Horan, she was supposedly in a relationship with Ed Sheeran. Just like Taylor Swift, Sheeran wrote about this love triangle in a song. Anyone remember Ed’s hit song, “Don’t?” Apparently the lyrics take a dig a both Goulding and Horan! But the trio remain good friends today.

Blink and You Miss It

Niall Horan had a few rumored relationships, which were very brief with only a couple of sightings. He was spotted getting cozy with Victoria’s Secret model, Barbara Palvin when they both rang in 2015. But that was the last time they were seen together, ending speculations. That same year, he was also seen a couple of times with an Australian student named Melissa Whitelaw. He kept his romance with the non-celebrity on the down-low, but eventually called it off knowing their long distance relationship wouldn’t work. There was also a supposed fling with Selena Gomez between one of the many breaks she had with Justin Bieber. But at this point, that sounds like fiction.

Love Is in the Air

Horan’s newest flame is Joe Jonas’ ex-girlfriend, Jessica Serfaty. The 25-year-old model was spotted on dates with the One Directioner sometime last year. They may not have confirmed it, but they’re pretty much an item at this point. They even attended the American Music Awards together! She broke into the modeling world on the trails of Tyra Banks’ flagship model competition, America’s Next Top Model.

She appeared in Cycle 14 (2010) when she was 18 years old. At her panel interview, she revealed that she got pregnant when she was 16 and was married to her boyfriend at the time. She proved that she was in it to win it, as she wowed Banks and the judges. Serfaty also became well-known for burning a toaster in the ANTM house. But eventually, her performance declined, and she was the ninth girl to be eliminated. She then went on to star in a Super Bowl commercial for Doritos and made cameos in a few movies.

It’s not known when the teen mom split from her husband, but it’s presumed that it happened when she moved to LA to pursue modeling full-time. Her seven-year-old son, Roman lives with his father, Ididia Serfaty, in Arkansas. Her ex accused her of abandoning their son to follow her modeling dream, claiming that she only visits Roman once every summer, but she has refuted those claims.
