There’s a reason Modern Family has won about a hundred awards—it’s pretty damn funny. But have you ever wondered what really happens behind the scenes of a comedy series like Modern Family?

Well, it turns out the cast clearly has just as much fun off camera as they do in front of it. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell Pritchett on the popular sitcom, shared a video on his Instagram page of three of his leading co-stars—Sofia Vergara (who plays stepmom Gloria), Julie Bowen (who plays his sister, Claire Dunphy), and Eric Stonestreet (who plays his partner, Cameron Tucker)—hanging out before filming.

The clip shows the threesome back-to-back and laughing hysterically while dancing into each other to Justin Bieber’s song “What Do You Mean.” According to Ferguson’s caption, it’s how Vergara, Bowen, and Stonestreet “get ready for work in the hair and makeup trailer.”

Bowen was obviously in quite the dancing mood, because the day before Ferguson posted his video, the comedian shared one of her own on Twitter. This time it was of her and a friend wearing Chewbacca masks and dancing to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ new song “Downtown.” Bowen simply captioned the video, “I’m not proud #chewbacca #cantdance.”

Many of the videos and photos that Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, and the other cast members share on their social media pages make it clear why the show has been such a huge success since it premiered back in 2009—they know how to have fun. It’s probably safe to say that there’s nothing quite like a Modern Family party. The cast kicked off their seventh season last month and already it’s off to an entertaining start.
