After two unlucky streaks in marriage, Jeff Goldblum has finally found his true love in 32-year-old gymnast-turned-actress, Emilie Livingston. After dating for three years and getting engaged in Hawaii last July, the famous age gap couple tied the knot in November 2014 in Bali. Despite the 30-year age difference between them, Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston have seemed like the perfect match.
What’s more is that they’ve just welcomed a new baby boy, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, who was born on July 4. It is definitely surprising that Jeff had his first child at the age of 62, especially considering the fact that he had been married twice before. Perhaps this just goes to show that Goldblum has found his Mrs. Right.
The phrase, “age is just a number” certainly comes to mind with this celebrity news story. Although the mindsets of people today have broadened considerably, these types of May-December marriages generally make headlines because of the stark age difference. However, it’s nice to see that in this case, the focus has been on the pair happily starting a family, even if it’s later than usual (for Goldblum at least).
As Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston’s May-December relationship shows, it really doesn’t matter whether a person is 25 or 65—everyone deserves a chance to fall in love; and if they are happy together, then their age really doesn’t matter.
