Hugh Jackman, famous for playing Wolverine, recently shared a photo to his social media accounts which turned out to be the cause of concern for a lot of fans. The 47-year-old Aussie hunk posted a snap of himself looking dapper in a crisp white shirt and slicked back hair along with the caption, “The calm before the carpet …”

However, what came under scrutiny was the fact that the actor looked thoroughly tired. One Facebook user wrote, “You look kinda tired man! Sleep is majorly important to health! (not that you don’t know that :P) Have fun on the carpet!! Hugh Jackman x [sic].” She did have a point as Jackman appeared to be rather somber, however the explanation could just have been in the caption.

But other fans came to his rescue, saying, “The carpet will be calm until you walk on it.” On Twitter, one person wrote, “Just watched Kate & Leopold again tonight. Reminded me why women fell in love with you. You’re a great actor. Be well.” Hear, hear!

Earlier, Jackman posted another photo where he made a shocking revelation to fans. He said, “There’s just no two ways about it. I’m Hugh and I’m a nerd! #THEFONZ.” The versatile actor struck a pose exactly like the iconic Fonzie from Happy Days and fans loved it. They left comments like, “You could say you’re… A hugh nerd [sic],” and, “Now try it with a bow tie and say, I’m Jackman, Hugh Jackman.”

This comes in response to a 0.07 minute-long video Jackman posted to Twitter a few days ago, where he teased fans about being the next James Bond. Whether or not the hunk will be seen as the future Bond remains a mystery, but he will surely be seen in Eddie the Eagle, a comedy-drama about sports which is slated for a February 26 release.
