Carrie Underwood has been performing the theme song for NBC’s Sunday Night Football since 2013; however, the last Sunday of this year was spent in a very different way—with her family. The American Idol winner shared a black and white photo to Facebook of her little family that included husband, Mike Fisher, their son, Isaiah Fisher, and their pet dog.
The 32-year-old teased her NHL Nashville Predators ice hockey player husband in the caption, writing, “How we spent our Sunday…my man and my lil’ monkey! He was watching cartoons…the kiddo, that is…not the hubby! [sic]” However, fans caught on to it and called Fisher out, saying, “Come on Carrie we all know the hubby was watching cartoons also lol.” Another put forth a rather interesting theory, “Your hubby was enjoying cartoons as much as your son. Why do you think cowboys always liked puppies and children?”
Prior to that post, Underwood also shared a photo of highlights from the Sunday Night Football episode and wrote, “#CU2015Highlights.” Fans expressed how much they have loved watching the singer perform on the show for the past three years with comments like, “They picked the best person to sing Sunday night football you’re the best [sic],” and, “Thanks Carrie. I sit and wait for you to perform on Sunday night football. Tonight it was vickings and glad you tape this one early as you would have been real cold. Love your singing. [sic]”
In this photo, the seven-time Grammy winner looked stunning as ever, although some fans seemed to have a problem with the length of her dress. One Facebook user wrote, “The dress is just a little bit too far up [sic],” but Underwood’s fans came to her rescue with replies like, “She’s beautiful! And if you got it, flaunt it! Haters gonna hate [sic],” and, “Someone’s jealous of her legs…”
Meanwhile, yesterday, Underwood’s team shared a collage of photos to her Facebook page, congratulating her on another successful year in the music industry. They wrote, “#CU2015Highlights- Congrats Carrie on an award winning year! Not only did RIAA name her the Current Top Country Artist in Digital Singles, this year alone Carrie won a GRAMMY Award, a Billboard Award, an American Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, 3 CMT Music Awards, 2 Teen Choice Awards, and a BMI songwriter award! [sic]” That is quite the list of achievements; you go girl!
