Premiering last October, season 1 of the teen horror series, Freakish was highly appreciated. It was a hybrid of Lord of the Flies, The Walking Dead, and The Breakfast Club. The show narrated the story of a group of high schoolers struggling to survive against a predatory group of mutants, who take over their town after a chemical plant explosion.

Featuring a cast of social media stars, the thrilling Season 1 finale left fans hungry for more adventures from inside Kent High School. And ever since season 1 ended, fans have been waiting for the announcement of a Freakish season 2 release date.

The cast, which includes Adam Hicks, Liza Koshy, Leo Howard, Melvin Gregg, Meghan Rienks, and Tyler Chase, will return for the new season to reprise their respective roles. So, when does Freakish season 2 come out?

New Cast for Freakish Season 2

A new row of actors has been added to the cast of Freakish. Niki DeMartino, who is pretty famous on YouTube, joins Freakish as Sadie, a new transfer student who’s already so “over it.”

Riverdale‘s Jordan Calloway plays and Zane Hiatt. Zane is Violet’s ex-boyfriend, who still has lingering feelings for his ex.

Jake Busey, who starred in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, will also appear in season 2 as Earl, an immoral and ruthless survivalist.

Brant Daugherty, Amanda Steele, Saxon Sharbino, and Ryan McCartan have also joined the cast for season 2.
