Finally, rapper Meek Mill is out of jail! And while many are already celebrating his return, one Instagram star is “motivated” by the release of his idol! Fatboy SSE posted a video on Instagram about Meek Mill’s release, along with stars like Rihanna and Kevin Hart.
There’s no denying that Fatboy SSE is Meek Mill’s fan in the biggest way. And he’s pretty much set to become the next gilded rapper of the hip-hop industry. Anything he says or endorses is catching on like wildfire!
The comedian-turned-rapper took to Instagram to share his happiness after Meek Mill was released.
Fatboy SSE Overjoyed with Meek Mill’s Release
Fatboy SSE, whose real name is Tyriq Thomas Kimbrough, is an up-and-coming rapper with 4.5 million followers on his Instagram page. He started off as a comedian by posting short videos of his wild sense of humor.
YouTube and Instagram users quickly took a shine to him. And in no time, he was already meeting big stars like Sean Combs and making rap songs with Fetty Wap. Now, it looks like he is about do something big!
For those of you who aren’t up to date with the whereabouts of Meek Mill, he’s been behind bars for the past 5 months (much longer than he should have been, according to the opinion of many). His sentence for violating his parole has been highly controversial, with all kinds of celebrities standing behind him in support (many rallying with the hashtag #FreeMeekMill).
When Meek was arrested, Fatboy SSE had a message for him and said that he was in full support of the rapper. He also mentioned that he wants to pass on blessings to Meek’s friends and family, too.

Why Was Meek Mill Arrested?
Meek Mill was 18 when he was first arrested for assaulting a police officer and possession of a firearm.
After several arrests, Mill was convicted in 2008 and sentenced to over a year’s worth of jail time. But he was released in 2009 under a five-year parole agreement.
Arrests continued for Mill until 2017 for violating various terms of his probation. He was also put under house arrest for eight days and his probation time was increased by six years after he was arrested for assaulting two pedestrians in March 2017.
In November 2017, the rapper found himself in court again after the family of Jaquan Graves filed a lawsuit against him. Graves was fatally shot outside a concert venue’s parking lot. The family sued Roc Nation along with Meek Mill.
This time around, a fault in the justice system came to Meek’s advantage. Philadelphia Police Officer Reginald Graham, who had arrested the rapper, was deemed to be untrustworthy as he had lied to the FBI before.
The officer had allegedly taken money after busting a drug deal and concealed the fact. Mill was released on these grounds, with the prosecutors now demanding a new case.

In addition to the officer’s credibility, there’s another reason why Meek Mill, 30, is out now. It is all because of the judge who was dealing with the case; Judge Genece Brinkley.
Mill’s attorney alleged that the Judge Brinkley showed irregular behavior towards the rapper by asking him to leave Roc Nation and join a company that belonged to her friend. In fact, reports say she even offered to meet with Mill and then-girlfriend Nicki Minaj “completely off the record” and allegedly asked him to record a cover of a Boyz II Men song and include a shout-out to her in it. Apparently, she even showed up at his community service, which is highly unusual for a judge to do.
Nonetheless, the hip-hop and sports industries are overjoyed with the release of Meek Mill! According to CNN, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered an immediate release for Mill yesterday, directing the judge to release him on “unsecured bail.”
And it isn’t just Fatboy SSE who is overjoyed with the news! Fans and celebrities have taken to social media with an outpouring of celebration and support upon hearing the confirmation of his release. The owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, Michael Rubin, took to Instagram, too.
