Jordan Peele’s newest thriller offering us nightmares comes in the form of Us, premiering March 22. The Oscar-winning actor-turned-director gives viewers an ensemble of talented actors in Us, including the rising child actor, Evan Alex. This young star is going places. So we’ve got Evan Alex’s wiki to get you up-to-speed on the rising actor, while you still can.

Evan Alex’s Siblings Are Actors, Too

Evan Alex was born on May 5, 2008 and is the youngest of three children. His sister, Raigan Alex, 15, and brother, Grant Alex, 11, are also child actors. The Alex siblings are signed to Ei8hth Wonder management.

Grant and Evan have a cute brotherly bond. They accompany each other to auditions and callbacks and play basketball together. Grant even features in Us, so keep a close eye on one of the Tethered doppelgangers.

Raigan has had a few acting credits, too, but she’s now more focused on becoming a filmmaker in the future. She featured in a Facebook video for Disney Dream Jobs where she had the dream opportunity to take an animation class at Disney. She hopes to one day become a real animation artist at Disney.

Alex Starred in the YouTube Series, Mani

Before his age hit double digits, Evan Alex built an impressive acting resume starting with playing a baby Pharrell Williams in a 2016 Kids Reenact video of The Voice. He did another parody for Empire, where he played Trai Byers’ Andre.

Alex, who studied in his local district’s Gifted & Talented Conservatory of Fine Arts, has worked in short films like Not Summer Camp, The Cape, Holding Her Again, The Kid, and The Premonition. He recently starred in the short film Eight alongside his brother.

Saying goodbye to 2018. It's been a great year of growth. I filmed 3 short films, 2 national commercials, 2 music videos, 2 episodics, 1 web series, and 1 feature film. 4 short films I starred in were selected for film festivals. I graduated from my school district's 16 week Gifted & Talented Conservatory of Fine Arts. And my basketball team made it to the championship game (we lost). I was lucky to work with some amazing talent, and made friends with some really great people. Thank you to everyone that's helped me live my dream. Can't wait to see what's in store for 2019! @jordanpeele @monkeypawproductions @usmovie @melissamccarthy @shokidding @michelgondry @brat @rekonprods @njwenger @timheidecker @eightthemovie @jimmykimmellive @cleartalentgroup #topnine #2018 #newyearseve #usmovie #watchyourself #clearishere

Among his TV appearances are spots in How Smart is Lauren Elizabeth?, Sesame Street, and Kidding. He even played a pint-sized Nick Fury in the mini TV series Baby Avengers, with Drake Bell.

2018 was a big year for Alex because he not only filmed two national commercials, but he also starred in a web series. Alex played Jake in YouTube’s Brat channel series Mani.

Last year, he also parodied Donald Trump Jr. in a Thanksgiving skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Alex Makes His Feature Film Debut in Us

There’s no lack of talent in the cast of Jordan Peele’s Us, but the movie’s young actors, Evan Alex and Shahadi Wright Joseph, are giving their on-screen parents, Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke, a run for their money. The four stars portray the Wilson family, whose vacation turns into a nightmare when their doppelgangers called the Tethered go after them.

Us opened SXSW and is already getting rave reviews by critics. And the two kids are proving to be show-stealers.

Alex plays both Jason Wilson and the Tethered, Pluto. In various interviews, Alex has described his exciting experience working with Peele, especially Peele teaching him about filmmaking on set.

Keep an eye on this one. Evan Alex may soon add director to his list of credits!
