Denise Richards, 44, took time off to chat with Extra’s Mario Lopez at the Universal Studios Hollywood to dissipate false rumors about her appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which have been circulating for a while now.
The mother of two said that she thought it was just a rumor, considering that she “wasn’t even asked.” She admitted to liking the show and acknowledged Lisa Rinna, who is already part of the cast, as a good friend. But Richards squashed all rumors of taking part in the show herself. She said she wouldn’t show her life there, because if she did, it would be “a whole other show!”
Although you may not be seeing her on Real Housewives anytime soon, you can see Richards on her new YouTube series titled Vanity, which she claims has a juicy plot that’s described as a cross between the popular television series Gossip Girls and Pretty Little Liars.
Apart from promoting her show, the actress spoke on co-parenting with ex-husband and father of her children, 49-year-old Charlie Sheen—the couple went through a tumultuous and highly publicized split in 2006. She said she tries her best to keep the peace for her three daughters, Sam Sheen, 11; Lola Sheen, 10; and (adopted) Eloise Richards, 4. And despite her ex-husband’s erratic and sometimes absurd behavior, she gives Sheen credit for being a doting father.
Single since her divorce from the former Two and a Half Men star, Richards dished about enjoying the company of “friends with benefits,” at least until she finds “the right one.” She says she’s keeping herself entertained while searching for her soulmate.
