The latest news from the daytime television world is promising major comebacks in the coming weeks. General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and The Bold and the Beautiful are all bringing some major characters back for our fall viewing pleasure. Also, the rumor mill is abuzz with word of a major departure from GH. Who’s coming and who’s going in daytime soaps?
Is Tamara Braun out of GH?
The rumor mill is going wild with talk that Tamara Braun might be leaving her role as Dr. Nero on GH soon. The daytime veteran previously played Carly Corinthos before her 2005 exit and returned in 2017 as Kim Nero.
Braun is not new to rumors of her purported departure from the ABC soap. But this time, it’s thought that she might actually be leaving, with rumors claiming that she’s already finished filming her parts. It’s also believed that ABC has no intention of recasting Kim.
If Braun is indeed leaving, we’ll just have to wait and see what kind of farewell Kim gets.

Jessica Tuck Makes Another Return to Port Charles
After making her last appearance in September, GH is bringing back Jessica Tuck’s Cassandra Pierce in November. Her next episode is set to air on November 4.
Gloria Bardwell Returning to Y&R?
Recently, Christian LeBlanc, aka Y&R’s Michael Baldwin, gave away a major spoiler in an interview. LeBlanc revealed that he had wrapped up filming scenes with “Kevin, Chloe, and Gloria.”
It’s believed he’s referring the Gloria Bardwell, Michael’s mom on the show. Played by a daytime veteran, Judith Chapman, she has made a few appearances in recent years since her big departure in 2015.
Since Kevin, Michael’s brother and Gloria’s other son, has returned, perhaps it’s about time for the matriarch to return, too.

Celeste’s Ex Returns on Y&R
Jay Montalvo made his debut as Adrian Rosales, Celeste’s ex-husband and Lola, Arturo, and Ray’s dad, in August. Now Adrian is back, starting with the October 17 episode of Y&R.
The last time, Adrian was looking to repair his relationship with his kids. But the kids have far from forgiven him for walking out on them. We can anticipate what Adrian’s return will mean for the ongoing drama between the Abbott and Newman families.
DOOL Gets More Exciting with the Return of Marilyn McCoo
Marilyn McCoo had a brief but memorable run on DOOL as Tamara Price. And the show is set to bring back the songstress along with her real-life husband, Billy Davis Jr.
Tamara Price was Abe’s love interest and Lani Price’s mom. And with Lani and Eli’s wedding coming up, the mother of the bride will surely attend.

Kristian Alfonso Is Seeing Double on DOOL
The remarkable Kristian Alfonso has portrayed Hope Brady Hernandez since 1983. And if you’ve followed her character closely, you’d remember Alfonso’s other DOOL character, Princess Gina Von Amberg, who was first seen in 1998 and made sporadic appearances later.
Princess Gina is Hope’s doppelganger, which makes for some very intense drama. And spoilers indicate we’ll be seeing Alfonso’s Princess Gina again.
Wally Kurth Is Going to Stay with DOOL
Wally Kurth currently plays Justin Kiriakis on DOOL and Ned Ashton on GH. But it looks like he’s going to be a more regular fixture in Salem. Apparently, Kurth has made a longer commitment with NBC to be involved in a major plotline in November.
“I think this is common knowledge, but I’m working on DAYS mostly because I’m under contract over there,” Kurth explained during an interview. “Now we’re almost eight months ahead, so you won’t really see me full force… I start a major story in like, the middle of November. There’s a big twist on the show and it’s very interesting. So that’ll be good. For people who like Justin, you’ll be seeing a lot of me in a couple of months.”
Todd McKee to Make a Bold and Beautiful Return
A year after his last appearance on B&B, Todd McKee is set to return as Jake Maclaine in the November 6 and 7 episodes. The last time he appeared on the soap, he helped Steffy with her fashion show. We’re anticipating something just as entertaining (if not more so) when Jake returns next month.
