David Adeyemi Adefeso was reportedly born on November 23, 1969. He was born and raised in Nigeria in Africa. He came to the U.S. when he was 21 years old and has been there since.
Adefeso recently joined social media where he detailed his upbringing in Nigeria. He said he first flew to New York City from Lagos with $250.00 in cash on him.

Adefeso Graduated from Harvard
At 22 years old, Adefeso passed all four parts of the CPA exam on his first try. He would later enroll in Harvard Business School, becoming one of the youngest MBA students in one of the country’s most prestigious Ivy League schools.
Soon after graduating in 1996, he embarked on a career in Wall Street at only 26 years old. Working with global conglomerates, he achieved his goals and became a multi-millionaire by the age of 32.
Adefeso Is a Financial Consultant
Before he attended Harvard, Adefeso worked as an accountant in L.A., auditing reviews and financial statements for corporate and government clients. His first foray into Wall Street was as an investment banker for Salomon Brothers and Wasserstein Perella.
Since 2002, he has been associated with The Pacific Group based in Los Angeles and Fort Worth, Texas. Adefeso serves as its CEO and works as a financial consultant.

He Assists Students Facing Debt
In detailing his life story on Facebook, Adefeso revealed that despite his professional success, he felt unfulfilled. That all changed in 2017 when he was at a party.
He met a man who brought his daughter along so Adefeso could give her some financial advice. The financial wiz was at a loss, however, for this young woman was brilliant and talented with a bright future ahead.
She dreamed of starting her own business one day, but it seemed impossible with $120,000 in student loan debt and her $52,000 annual salary. It was then that Adefeso realized the enormity of the student debt crisis in America that has held back many from pursuing their dreams.
That was the genesis of Sootchy.com, “a technology venture powered by a smart artificial intelligence driven system with one objective in mind: completely eliminate the need for student loans in America. We will use technology to fix what is broken and give our children a chance,” Adefeso said.
He invested his own money in it and hired a team of the “smartest” software engineers to make it a reality. With Sootchy Inc, launched in 2019, Adefeso will be able to make education accessible for many, which makes him feel fulfilled.
Tamar and David Met at a Party
Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert’s tumultuous relationship (which we also saw on Braxton Family Values) ended when she filed for divorce in 2017. The former couple is currently seeking joint custody of their son, Logan Vincent Herbert (born 2013).
Sometime in 2018, Tamar’s new relationship was doing the rounds on the rumor mill. She was playing coy about her rumored new relationship on social media without revealing her new man’s identity.
That changed when Tamar appeared on The Wendy Williams Show in September 2018. She admitted that she had been dating David Adefeso for three months, since meeting him at a friend’s birthday party.
Adefeso was in the studio that day, though it would be a while before we’d know what he looks like. Queen of daytime talk shows Williams gave a brief physical description of Adefeso for us fans.
And Tamar and David made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere party of BFV season 6. The premiere also marked David’s debut on social media. So when you hear Tamar talk about a Mr. Lagos, you know who that is.
