Cops Called to Madonna’s 57th Birthday Bash

Madonna may be nearing 60, but she clearly has no plans to slow down anytime soon. The pop queen recently rang in her 57th birthday by throwing a lavish, over-the-top party at her private mansion in the high-end Hamptons. She even arrived in style in a “vintage Gypsy wagon filled to overflowing with dancers all in Gypsy attire,” according to Page Six.

Guests, including A-listers like Kelly Ripa, Andy Cohen, and Naomi Watts, were reportedly treated to a flamenco show before the dancing started. As expected, the partying really didn’t stop till early the next morning, much to the dismay of Madonna’s neighbors, who were not impressed with the rising volume of the music—they claim the music was so loud that it felt like their houses were actually shaking.

TMZ reports that around 2:30 in the morning, a neighbor called the cops to report the noise. Someone apparently tipped off the partygoers, who turned down the music by the time the cops showed up—so they had no reason to speak with the famous host. However, according to sources, the volume went right back up as soon as the police cleared out. Who says you have to be young to party hard?

In addition to pulling off what may very well be the biggest birthday party of the year, Madonna also scored a new puppy, an adorable French bulldog named (very fittingly) Gypsy Rosa Lee, gifted to her by her four kids, who were all in attendance to celebrate their mom’s birthday.
