Fans are highly anticipating the actor’s role in the upcoming film Passengers, after photos of his painful-looking arm bruises appeared on Chris Pratt’s Instagram (@prattprattpratt) Thursday morning.

The Passengers actor has been promoting the film on social media and has clearly been working hard for his role as Jim Preston! Based on his social media post, he put in a lot of work to make sure his character was as authentic as possible. He captioned the photo, “Here’s the other side. No rest for the weary. Passengers hits theaters December 21, 2016, and the film’s official synopsis reads: “Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt star in an exciting action-thriller about two passengers who are on a 120-year journey to another planet when their hibernation pods wake them 90 years too early. Directed by Morten Tyldum, the feature film stars Jennifer Lawrence as Aurora Lane, Michael Sheen as Arthur, Laurence Fishburne as Gus Mancuso, Andy Garcia as Captain Norris, Vince Foster as the Executive Officer, Kara Flowers as the Communications Officer, Conor Brophy as a Crew Member, Julee Cerda as the Instructor (Hologram), and more!
