Childish Gambino released a new track called “Redbone” from his forthcoming album, Awaken, My Love, which is set to be released on December 2 (exactly two weeks away). While counting down the days, you could always listen to the “Redbone”stream online.
“Redbone” premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show Thursday (November 17) and is now available on iTunes. Gambino has described the song as “oozing with soul.” Much like his previously released single, “Me and Your Mama,” Childish Gambino’s latest song is quite different from his previous ones. In fact, Childish Gambino’s third studio album was noted by listeners as having very minimal rapping.
Awaken, My Love! follows the artist’s 2013 album, Because the Internet. His first studio album, Camp, was released in 2011.
