Carrie Underwood’s latest song, “Heartbreak,” has been available via digital retailers for over a month, but it didn’t actually start playing on country radio till today. Just in time for the track’s big radio debut, Underwood treated her fans to a sneak peek at the unreleased music video.
The singer posted a short 15-second clip on Twitter, simply writing, “So excited to share this peek at my new music video for #Heartbeat!” Although the video really doesn’t show much (other than a forest and Underwood’s lean legs walking through a field), her Twitter followers were over the moon, with hundreds commenting on how excited they were to see the full thing. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when the actual music video will be released; only that it’s “coming soon.”

Although “Heartbeat” has been a pretty solid hit for Underwood on U.S. charts, she didn’t seem to have quite as much of an impact in the U.K. Underwood performed the song on the U.K. edition of The X Factor last night, and although a performance like that on American television would’ve been a pretty big deal, some viewers in the U.K. didn’t really care for it, while others didn’t even know who she was, at least judging by some of the tweets that surfaced during her performance.
In fact, one of the show’s mentors, singer Sinitta (also Simon Cowell’s ex), didn’t really seem to know much about Underwood, at least not enough to spell her name correctly. During last night’s episode, Sinitta tweeted, “KerryUnderwood is in the House. On the stage @TheXFactor [sic].” Followers were quick to correct her though.
