Carrie Underwood hasn’t been a mom for too long, but she’s definitely doing it right! The American Idol winner, who has a nine-month-old son, Isaiah, with NHL player Mike Fisher, shared an incredibly cute video of her messing around with her son and playfully feuding over wet kisses.
The 32-year-old posted the short snippet to Facebook with the caption, “Baby kisses are the best thing in the world…I’m so thankful for my sweet angel. He makes my life better in every way!” Adding the hashtags, “So In Love,” “Mom Life,” and “Slobber,” Underwood is clearly mastering this celebrity parenting thing.
The video began with the doting mother asking her son, “Can I have a kiss?” to which he readily complied. However, the country star was not expecting slobber along with it! But being a mother, she didn’t mind, and consoled her son, “Oh, I don’t mind, I don’t mind,” and leaned in for another sloppy one, after which even her son was heard laughing.
Underwood’s fans adored her humility and related to the experience, as the post received over 102,000 likes in just 20 minutes! They also left kind comments, such as, “How adorable is this! Love how genuine and beautiful she is both inside and out!!” and, “Cutest thing ever! Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life and your precious boy. You’re a classy lady.” One mother even shared her own touching story and wrote, “My son has autism. I longed for so long to get my first baby kiss from him. Finally, when he was about 2 1/2 years old I finally got one! Made it so so special. He is now three and giving mama kisses all the time. I love it!”
