Carmelo Anthony and La La Split
According to TMZ, sources close to the couple have confirmed that they are in fact living separately. La La moved out of the family’s home last week and now has her own place in New York City, where the family resides. Reportedly, the NBA season has been stressful on the couple’s marriage over the last few months, and there have been endless trade talks. Sources say that the split was amicable and both Carmelo and La La were seen at their 10-year-old son Kiyan’s basketball game. So far, there are no plans for them to uproot their son’s life and it seems they will stay in New York, whether Carmelo is traded or not. And, as Knicks president Phil Jackson reportedly said in a press conference, it looks like it’s time for Carmelo to go.
Who is Carmelo Anthony’s Mistress?
Allegedly, Carmelo Anthony’s side chick is a dancer at a New York gentlemen’s club and he allegedly got her pregnant. Reports say that the Carmelo Anthony affair happened while he was married to La La, and now the dancer (whose identity is still unknown) wants her medical bills paid! The unidentified woman wants the NBA star to pay for not only medical expenses, but the baby costs as well —and diapers ain’t cheap! She claims she is six and a half months pregnant and believes that Carmelo is the father. Could she be right?
The news of the pregnancy comes days after Carmelo and La La announced their separation after seven years of marriage. The couple met back when La La was an MTV VJ on Total Request Live in 2004.
La La Anthony’s Affair Rumors
In the summer of 2015, La La was caught up in her own cheating scandal with rapper Maino, and his ex-girlfriend, Patrice E. had plenty to say about it on Instagram.
“How does it feel to be the slut responsible for his daughter never waking up to her father again,” she wrote on Instagram in now-deleted posts. “@lala does your husband know that your hoe ass has been f—king my daughters [sic] father. That you slept over his house the other night after the movies.”
In a similar post, E. said: “Your [sic] a disgrace to women everywhere. Typical married slut. @carmeloanthony.”
A source told Us Weekly that the rapper and Power star were just friends at the time.
“They’ve been friends for a very long time. [Patrice] is jealous of their friendship, but there’s no truth to her cheating with him at all.”
There still isn’t any concrete proof or comment from Carmelo Anthony or La La at this time, but the pair are still separated and a divorce could be likely. The woman claiming to be pregnant with Anthony’s child is allegedly a dancer at a gentleman’s club in New York City that Anthony has attended. Though neither Anthony or La La have yet filed for divorce papers, it looks like the chances of them reconciling their issues and getting back together are slim. At this time, the Carmelo and La La are focused on keeping their son’s life as stable as possible in New York.
