On September 9, Donald Trump added another person to the list of females he has insulted. This time around, his victim was fellow Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina.

Trump insulted the 61-year-old’s physical appearance, according to Rolling Stone’s cover story. It detailed an incident where the business mogul, along with his staffers, was watching television. Suddenly, Fiorina appeared on camera and Trump reportedly remarked, “Look at that face!? Would anyone vote for that?”

Donald Trump essentially questioned whether her face was one suited for that of the next President of the United States. As quoted by the magazine, he continued saying that he is not supposed to speak bad things about women, but added anyway, “Really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

The billionaire has been called out in the past as well for his crude and insulting comments about women. In August’s GOP debate, Trump was openly asked about labeling certain women “fat pigs” and “disgusting animals,” which he outright denied.

Following the conclusion of the debate, he remarked that Megyn Kelly, the debate’s moderator, had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her – wherever.” This led to a long feud between the two where Trump retweeted a post on his Twitter account that called Kelly a “bimbo.”

Meanwhile, Fiorina kept a calm head when she appeared on Kelly’s Fox News program and dismissed his statements with an impressive reply: “Maybe, just maybe, I’m getting under his skin a little bit.”

Fiorina added that Trump’s comments “speak for themselves,” given her rising poll numbers. The former Hewlett Packard CEO’s figures have shot up after a strong performance in the GOP’s first lower-tier debate. Moreover, after CNN modified rules last week, she will most probably be on the main stage for next week’s debate.

Meanwhile, Trump doesn’t deny that he made these comments about Carly Fiorina as reported by Rolling Stone, but maintains that he said them in jest, adding that he wasn’t referring to the way she looks, but rather her “persona.”
