Former Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear claimed victory in the state’s gubernatorial election over the Trump-backed Republican incumbent, Matt Bevin. The son of former Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear declared victory on Tuesday (November 5) in the hotly contested race. Born Britainy Anne Colman on July 11, 1979, she is the younger daughter of Allan and Robin Colman, both California residents. Britainy and her sister, Tyson, were raised in Rancho Palos Verdes in L.A. County.
Allan Colman is a managing and marketing professional with immense experience. As the managing director of California-based The Closers Group, he advises leaders and employees of organizations seeking his expertise to maximize profits.
Colman has shared his knowledge and experience in the classroom as well as through books like Crazy Impact, Own the Zone, and Lead Like a Boss. Books published by Colman are used in his workshops to improve his clients’ management performance.
Britainy’s mom has a pretty cool resume, too. Based in San Francisco, Robin Colman is a VP at eBay. And she previously worked at The Walt Disney Company.

Britainy and Andy Are Parents to Two Kids
Andy Beshear didn’t share how he met and fell in love with his now-wife. He did, however, celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary with a sweet social media post while taking a break from the campaign trail.

According to the new governor-elect, he proposed to Britainy on May 13, and they tied the knot on April 1, 2006. The couple are parents to two kids, Will and Lila Beshear, who have been a noticeable presence in Andy Beshear’s campaign.
Britainy Is Active in Volunteer Work
Andy and Britainy Beshear share a passion for philanthropy, as is evident with the projects they take up to support causes they feel strongly about. For example, the family is part of Beargrass Christian, a Disciples of Christ church where they both serve as deacons.
Maryhurst, a youth social services organization in Kentucky, counts Britainy among its volunteers as well its board of directors members.
And, with Britainy’s initiative, the Beshears opened Hope Gallery during Child Abuse Prevention Month in 2016.
Recently, the Hope Gallery featured artwork from the children of Silverleaf, a local children’s advocacy center. The artwork aims to raise awareness on child abuse and encourage art therapy.
Britainy also brings Will and Lila along to the Food Bank and other places for her volunteer work.
