Brian Tarantina, best known for his recent role as Jackie in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, passed away suddenly on November 2, at the age of 60. The actor was reportedly found dead in his apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. While the cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy, his publicist said that he died of complications from a severe health crisis. Despite a career that dates back to 1968, very little is known about Brian Tarantina. However, he does have a loving family who survive him. Along with his fans, Brian Tarantina’s family is mourning this tragic loss.
Brian Tarantina’s Father Passed Away in 2018
Brian Tarantina was born on March 27, 1959 in New York. He was one of three children born to Frank William Tarantina, though there’s no record of Brian’s mother.
Frank Tarantina passed away in Coral Springs, Florida, on December 22, 2018, a few days before his 89th birthday. His funeral service was held on December 28, his birthday.

While his father lived in Florida, Brian was based in New York. He had studied acting at what is now called Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and went on to perform in Broadway.

Tarantina Has a Son
Among the family members who survive him, Brian leaves behind a son, Sean Tarantina. There’s no record of Sean’s mother, nor any evidence of Brian’s relationship status at the time of his death.
Sean grew up in North Tonawanda, New York and attended North Tonawanda High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Buffalo, where he majored in business in 2019. He also balanced his studies with his side job at a supermarket.

Tarantina Has Two Siblings
The Gilmore Girls actor has an older brother, Mark Tarantina, and a younger sister, Claire Tarantina Rossi. Like him, his siblings also appear to be based in New York.

Through his siblings, Brian is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Michelle Tarantina, Elise Tarantina Holmes, Lauren Rossi, and Eric Rossi.
Like her uncle, Michelle also works in the entertainment field, as an artist, costume designer, and film and theater assistant.
Elise has a job at Walt Disney World Entertainment. Brian and the Tarantina family celebrated Elise’s wedding to Colin Holmes in March 2019.
