Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Chance’s new song, called “Blessings,” made its debut. Chance The Rapper’s “Blessings” lyrics—from the rapper’s upcoming album Chance 3—have more of a gospel tone and vibe to it, something not many rappers attempt in their line of work. Fans can stream/listen to the lyrics on genius.com or watch the “Blessings” video on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon YouTube page. The Chance 3 release date is set for May 13, 2016.

“Blessings” has contributions from Byron Cage, Jamila Woods, Donnie Trumpet, and a 10-piece choir.  “I don’t make songs for free, I make them for freedom/Don’t believe in kings, believe in the Kingdom,” Chance rapped. “When the praises go up, the blessings come down,” the others echoed.

The Tonight Show crowd cheered and applauded and fans are sure to do the same. Check out the “Blessings” lyrics at Genius.com!
