Fans all over the world are excited to learn that Blake Lively is expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds.
It seems like 2016 will certainly be a lucky year for the family. With Ryan’s huge success with his movie Deadpool, and Blake’s new movie The Shallows, which will be released on June, 24, the family has another reason to celebrate.

Born Blake Ellender Brown on August 25, 1987, Lively is an American actress, model, and a celebrity homemaker. She was born in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles to Ernie Lively (actor) and Elaine Lively. Lively is the youngest child in her family, and has four older siblings and half-siblings. Her parents used to take acting classes and Blake remembers, her parents used to take her along with them. This is where she learned a thing or two about acting and gained confidence to be an actor someday. Due to her brother Eric’s agent, she used to go for several auditions, and it was after giving one of the auditions that she got the role of Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Apart from this, she has acted in several movies and TV shows such as: Accepted, Elvis and Annabelle, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, New York, I Love You, The Town, Green Lantern, The Age of Adaline, and Gossip Girl (TV series).
She met her husband, Ryan Reynolds, while shooting Green Lantern in 2010. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds started dating in 2011, bought a home together in Bedford, New York, in 2012, and got married in a private ceremony in 2012. Together, they have a daughter, James, who was born in December, 2014.

Promotional work for Blake’s upcoming movie, The Shallows, is also going on, and she is seen visiting different shows. While promoting her upcoming movie on the Today show, she also spoke about her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her daughter. She said of her daughter, “She’s the most fun, funny human being I’ve ever seen around in my life.” Furthermore, when asked about her future family plans, she said, “I’m one of five kids. My husband’s one of four, so you know we are officially breeders. You can go on our web site and we can give you some of our children.”
Well, in their case it seems that the old adage “the more the merrier” rings true. The couple has always been secretive about their private lives; hence, the due date of their second baby is not yet announced. They welcomed their first child in 2014, but revealed her birth date one year later.
One good thing about Lively is that she is not letting her pregnancy get in the way of her career or style. She looked stylish and chic during the Met Gala awards, and wherever she went to promote her movies. She looked gorgeous on The Tonight Show, and had that pregnancy glow.
