Billionaire Elon Musk, co-founder of Tesla Motors and PayPal, is calling off his divorce from his wife, 29-year-old English actress Talulah Riley. Their reconciliation might not seem unusual—after all, couples can work through things—but this is one age gap couple who just can’t seem to decide if they want to stick together or go their separate ways.
Musk, 44, met Riley shortly after divorcing his first wife. Musk and Riley married in 2010, but divorced in 2012. The following year they got back together and he remarried Riley, only to file for divorce again on January 1, 2015. You’d think that would be the end of it, but the couple was spotted together at a billionaires retreat in July. And now, according to TMZ, Musk has filed a request to have the divorce papers dismissed—according to the paperwork, Riley is on board with nulling the divorce, too.
Hopefully the third time is really the charm for this couple, because Musk has already forked over big money in his past settlements—he paid her just over $4 million after their first divorce, and agreed to an even bigger settlement of $16 million in the second round of divorce papers. That being side, Musk’s estimated net worth is $14 billion, so he’s got cash to spare.
