Spoiler Alert: Jared and Caila Call It Quits and Leave BiP
If you hate spoilers, we suggest you stop reading at once! In tonight’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise s03e09, a confused Caila and the twins, Emily and Haley Ferguson leave the show, even before the rose ceremony. As if it couldn’t get any worse, a heartbroken Jared decides to join them as well. It definitely seems like week five of Bachelor in Paradise focuses on cleaning house, with ten contestants leaving the show. After the mass exodus of eliminated contestants Lauren, Tiara, Jami, Daniel, Ryan and Carl, only five couples are left standing. You guessed it—Grant and Lace, Carly and Evan, Josh and Amanda, Nick and Jen and Wells and Ashley. Wait and watch to see what happens next!
Monday night’s Bachelor in Paradise s03e08 (August 29) had all the factors needed to make a good entertaining epsiode– there were new couples and old fights, breakups and makeups. The Ashley-Jared-Caila love triangle continued, with Caila confronting Ashley about her intentions of breaking up the happy couple. In her classic style of sugar-coated cattiness, Caila sweetly told Ashley, “I’m sorry that you guys are longtime friends and that he like, loves you like a sister. You and I don’t have to talk for the rest of the time here, if that’s what you want!” Naturally, Ashley felt insulted and started crying as she is prone to do, and after Jared stepped in to console her, she went into her trademark ‘ugly cry’ mode, sobbing enough tears to fill up a swimming pool. Yikes!
Good old Jared pleaded with Ashley that he wanted to work on building a solid relationship with Caila, and shared his concerns that Ashley needed to meet a nice guy and settle down. Awww! Meanwhile, Ashley, in a last ditch effort to break up Jared and Caila, told him that she thought he was more into Caila, than she was into him. She even confessed to Jared that it was difficult for her to see him with someone else, and has a problem getting over him. After tonight’s episode, it seems like Ashley’s evil plan to drive a wedge between Jared and Caila succeeded, as they both decide to leave paradise. In a scene straight out of a rom-com, Ashley was seen praying to her dead dog Lucy’s soul, to help find her knight in shining armor. As if on cue, Wells Adams walked in with a date card. Fan-favorite Adams truly made an entrance and Ashley was immediately attracted to him, thankfully forgetting about her unrequited love for Jared at once. The hunky Nashville-based DJ from JoJo Fletcher’s The Bachelorette season asked Ashley out on a date, at the behest of everyone in Paradise, who were exasperated seeing her wallowing in misery for what seemed like years. Down-to-earth, funny and witty— what more can you ask for in a man?
Has Ashley Finally Found Love?
Anyway, Adams and Ashley had a romantic date that ended with a kiss. All’s well that ends well right? Well, we thought so too, until Jami Letain (from Ben Higgins’ The Bachelor season) showed up the next day, and asked Adams for a date that ended in them kissing under a waterfall. Instead of worrying about Adams falling for Jami, Ashely focussed her attention on Jared once again, asking Caila not to “full on make out” in front of her. Apparently, it seems that Caila had enough of Ashley’s interference and asked her “Do you want me to go home?” The episode ended with Caila telling Jared she was leaving paradise because she felt uncomfortable and wanted to go back home.
