Everyone’s favorite billionaire playboy is back! No, we’re not talking about Tony Stark aka Iron Man, but the equally famous Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow. Arrow season 5 returns to television as part of The CW network’s fall schedule and fans couldn’t be more excited! The season 5 premiere episode of Arrow titled, “Legacy,” airs tonight (Wednesday, October 5) on The CW. Fans of the hit action-adventure TV series are eagerly awaiting the Arrow season 5 premiere, and are wondering who will join the  Arrow season 5 cast. Meet the Arrow season 5 cast right here:

#1 Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen): Based on the DC comic character, Green Arrow, the main protagonist of the Arrow series, Oliver “Ollie” Queen is a former billionaire playboy turned vigilante archer. After being stranded on an island for five years, he returns to his hometown of Star City, and reconnects with his long-lost family and friends. At the end of season 4, fans saw Oliver kill the evil leader of a group called “The Ghosts,” Damien Darhk, and prevent his plan of destroying the world. After the death of the mayor, Ruve Adams, Oliver steps in to take the office of the mayor of Star City in Arrow season 5.

#2 Susanna Thompson (Moira Queen): Moira is Oliver and Thea’s mother, a mayoral candidate as well as the former CEO of Queen Consolidated. She was married to Robert Queen and later Walter Steele. At the end of Arrow season 4, Moira’s relationship with her son Oliver became more strained, after he found out that he had a son he never knew about. In the past, Moira had bribed Samantha Clayton (the mother of Oliver’s son) to tell him she lost the baby. Moira returns in Arrow season 5 for its 100th episode.

#3 Willa Holland (Thea Queen): The younger half-sister of Oliver, Thea is the daughter Moira had as a result of an affair with Malcolm Merlyn. She earlier battled with alcohol and drug addiction problems and used the name “Speedy” for her hero persona in season 4.

#4 David Ramsey (John Diggle): John is Oliver’s trusted friend and partner. A former United States Army Special Forces soldier, he was honorably discharged as a master sergeant. Using the name “Spartan,” he fights crime with Oliver and in season 4, he killed his own brother Andy. John rejoins the Army after confessing the truth about Andy’s murder, as well as the defeat of Damien Darhk.

#5 Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak): Felicity is Oliver’s partner and a computer expert. An IT Analyst by profession, she later becomes his girlfriend. Felicity holds a master’s degree in cyber security and cyber services. After being shot and paralyzed from the waist down in the earlier season, Felicity regained her mobility in season 4 and decided to dedicate her life to finding technological innovations to help people like her.

Besides the main Arrow season 5 cast, new members will join the original crime-fighting team, including: Curtis/ Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum) and new vigilantes on the block like Evelyn/Artemis (Madison McLaughlin), Rene/Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) and Adrian/Vigilante (Josh Segarra). Viewers can look forward to two new villains in Arrow season 5; Tobias Church (Chad L. Coleman), a criminal who wants to reunite all of Star City’s evil doers, and a mysterious character named Prometheus.
