Ariana Grande’s Honeymoon Tour opened on December 28 last year, but this December, the singer will not be able to make it for the three tours she had planned abroad. They were also supposed to be the closing events, but alas Grande took to Twitter to announce the sad news.
She wrote, “Babies, I’m so sad I won’t be able to make it abroad this December but I can’t wait to see u & reschedule for next year. I love you so much.” Retweeted over 11,800 times and liked by around 23,800 fans, the “Focus” singer definitely got the attention of quite a few people.
Most of them were loyal fans who were genuinely concerned for her. They wrote,”What happened? Ari?? Would you come to Japan again some day? Next year come to Japan?” and “Always remember that you have to put yourself before us and that we will never leave.” Another even commended her for the amount of work she has been doing, saying, “You definitely need a break omg you’ve been doing so much. [sic]” However, some fans were so heartbroken that they actually turned quite vicious! One Twitter user, whom we are not sure is a fan or not, commented, “Come to New Zealand before I slit your throat.” Whoa.
Grande was also scheduled to perform this Saturday at Capital FM’s annual Jingle Bell Ball in London, but the 20-year-old singer has cancelled that appearance as well. On the bright side, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, Coldplay, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Ellie Goulding are still some of the other confirmed performers. The concert will take place on the 5th and 6th of December at London’s famous O2 Arena.
