Decorated Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher was acquitted of several alleged war crimes on July 2. Gallagher was accused of seven criminal charges in total, including the premeditated murder of a teenage ISIS detainee, and was put under court-martial in September 2018. After tireless efforts by Eddie Gallagher’s wife, family, friends, and supporters, a jury of soldiers found him not guilty of all the major charges. It’s obviously a celebratory time for Gallagher’s family, especially for his biggest champion, Andrea Gallagher. Andrea Gallagher Is a Native of Indiana
Born Andrea Shively on April 5, 1980, she is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is one of three children born to Larry and Sharon Shively.
Andrea graduated from Northrop High School and her friends from her school and hometown also helped fight for Eddie Gallagher’s innocence. Eddie Gallagher is also a native of Fort Wayne, but he attended Bishop Dwenger High School.
The Gallaghers’ current known residence is in San Diego, California. They’ve also spent some time in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where Andrea on social media said they’d planned to relocate after Eddie completed his service.

Andrea and Eddie Married in 2007
Though they attended different schools, Eddie and Andrea ran in the same circles and met each other when they were around 16 to 17 years old. They became parents when they were young and spent some time apart for a while, possibly when Eddie was deployed. But as Andrea recalled on social media, they reunited in 2006.

A year later, they married on May 27, 2007. They commemorated 11 years of their marriage in 2018 with a romantic photoshoot at Santa Rosa Beach, a few months before Eddie would be placed under court-martial.

Eddie and Andrea Have Three Children
The couple are parents to three children: Treven (born 2000), Ava Grace (born 2004), and Ryan Edward Gallagher (born June 2009).
Eddie was arrested on September 11, 2018 at a traumatic brain injury treatment center at Camp Pendleton in San Diego County where he was seeking treatment for injuries incurred during combat duty. Friends said his court-martial trial was particularly hard on the children, but loved ones came to their aid.
Andrea was at the helm of the #FreeEddie campaign and held fundraisers with the help of friends. Eddie’s trial began in June and on July 2, a court-martial jury acquitted him of premeditated murder, attempted murder, obstruction of justice, and other offenses. He was found guilty of only one lesser offense—posing for a photo with the young ISIS fighter.

Treven Gallagher, who usually isn’t very active on social media, expressed his joy at the verdict on Instagram with a picture with his father.
Andrea Owns The Better Business Babe
From 2009 to 2015, Andrea worked as a professional photographer. Andrea went on to launch a San Diego-based business consultancy called The Better Business Babe in 2013.
The firm provides strategic brand consulting among other services to improve a business’s brand as a whole. That also includes using her photography and creative expertise for product and brand photography.
She also completed a certification in professional and co-active coaching from the California-based CTI (Coaches Training Institute). She now coaches entrepreneurs on building their business.
