Guns N’ Roses may not need a Civil War, but fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe sure do! Captain America: Civil War, the latest film in the acclaimed series of superhero films and based on a 2006-2007 comic book storyline of the same name (which has a sequel currently ongoing), is set to be released this Friday, May 6. Since the first Captain America: Civil War trailer was posted, social media has been alight with people joining “Team Cap” or “Team Iron Man.” Now that the movie is finally here, let’s look at some of the hype Captain America: Civil War pics on Instagram.

Besides the various trailers, the movie’s official Instagram page has included many of the film’s promotional art and movie posters (including some that are exclusive to IMAX). They’ve also posted international posters for the movie’s overseas releases, which are usually quite different from the ones used in the U.S. and Canada. The above is one such example, being two of the posters used for the film in China, now considered one of the biggest film markets.

The official Instagram has also posted a lot of action shots and stills from the film, as well as less powerful shots that show the attention to detail, such as a better look at the logo on Spider-Man’s costume. There’s also plenty of behind-the-scenes shots featuring the cast and crew coming together to make this major blockbuster. There’s even a couple showing how they copied specific panels from the comics!

The individual actors have also gone out of their way to have some fun with the Cap vs. Iron Man rivalry in Civil War, including stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. battling for the last donut and the pair, along with other members of the cast, singing a hymn. Even those not in the film got in on the action, with the Russo Brothers, who directed the film, posting a clip of Chris Hemsworth commenting on the conspicuous absence of Thor and the Hulk from the movie.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Instagram also got in a good shot when, during a stop in Paris as part of the press tour, Downey showed off the Eiffel Tower being illuminated in Iron Man’s signature colors. Unfortunately, Cap didn’t get to have a proper comeback; Chris Evans isn’t on Instagram. Score one for Team Iron Man!
