She Is from Florida
Abigail “Abbey” Cowen was born on March 18, 1998 and is 20 years old. She’s going to hit the big 2-1 soon, but has been paving a path to stardom ever since she moved to L.A.
Abbey and her brother, Dawson Cowen, were raised in Gainesville, Florida by their mother, Leslie LeMasters Cowen, and their father, Andrew Cowen. In 2016, she graduated from Oviedo High School, where she was a track and field athlete.
Growing up in Gainesville, the University of Florida was probably a natural choice for her. She reportedly began working toward her degree in public relations in 2016. It’s not known whether she participated in any Gator sports.
Her brother Dawson is also a student at UF in pre-med. Additionally, he’s an EMT and the Gator Emergency Medical Response Unit assistant director.

“We heard that they (clowns) were on sorority row so we wanted to go clown hunting because apparently that’s a thing now,” Abbey said. “I don’t know if it’s just a game.”
Abbey moved to Los Angeles sometime in 2016. It’s unclear what the status of her studies at UF is.
In an Instagram post, she recalls her first apartment in L.A. where she shared a room with a friend. They had no furniture except the mattresses they bought on Amazon. Abbey fondly remembers those times when she and her friend had heart-to-hearts while sitting on the floor and drinking coffee.
She Is a Model and Actress
In 2018, Cowen signed with MC2 Model Management in Miami and embarked on a modeling career. Her many modeling jobs appear to have taken her all over the country for photoshoots.
However, she has also extensively traveled thanks to her budding acting career. Among her first credits, she appeared in an episode of Fox’s Red Band Society. That episode was enough to give Cowen visibility and boost her acting career.
2017 was a big year for Cowen who was now pursuing her Hollywood aspirations in L.A. She landed the role of Vicki in the recent Netflix hit Stranger Things season 2.
She was also cast in the now-canceled CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd. She portrayed Mia Tanner, the murdered young girl whose father (Jeremy Piven) designs an app for crowd-sourced crime-solving.
Following the cancellation of Wisdom of the Crowd, Cowen landed a recurring role in the acclaimed Freeform drama The Fosters. She portrayed Eliza, Brandon’s (David Lambert) fiancée, in the final season. Brandon and Eliza’s wedding took place in Turks and Caicos and Cowen shared some beautiful snaps during her time there.
She now stars as one of the trio of witches, the Weird Sisters, on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. The Weird Sisters, aka Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, and Cowen have established an adorable sisterly bond off-camera, which we can catch a glimpse of in their respective Instagrams and in interviews.
Cowen said the three witches practiced moving and speaking together for their roles. Leading Weird Sister, Gabrielle, had already been cast and after testing out her chemistry with other ladies, she found a match in Rudolph and Cowen.
She’s a Proud Redhead
Abigail Cowen and her gorgeous red hair have made her an Instagram star, proving that gingers are just as beautiful as everyone else. (And who ever doubted it?) But according to her, she was also bullied by some nasty people because of her hair.
After sharing her experience on social media, she was flooded with support from other gingers who also revealed similar experiences of bullying. She was overwhelmed by the response and sent love to all her fellow red-haired beauties.
