Justin Timberlake’s fans can’t control their excitement after it was teased that the “Can’t Stop The Feeling” singer would be releasing new music in 2017, in a new untitled album!
Justin Timberlake is on a roll these days. The 35-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer is making headlines, after his catchy single from the animated movie Trolls was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Timberlake wrote the music and lyrics for “Can’t Stop The Feeling” along with Max Martin and Shellback. The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other contenders for the award include “City of Stars” from La La Land, “Faith” from Sing, “Gold” from Gold, and “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana. It was revealed that Timberlake is planning to drop his fifth studio album soon, although the exact date hasn’t yet been given. Justin Timberlake’s Upcoming Album
A man of many talents, Timberlake is a singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer. During an interview with Variety, he confirmed that a new album is in the pipeline saying, “I wouldn’t say [my new material] is the antithesis of 20/20, but it does sound more singular. If 20/20 sounded like it literally surrounds your entire head, this stuff feels more like it just punches you between the eyes.” Timberlake is currently hard at work in the music studio with Pharrell Williams, who revealed that the duo have completed six tracks so far. The 10 time Grammy Award winner stated that “song-wise, I think we’ve got a good solid six that are like, ‘Whoa, what was that? Play that again.'”
However, Timberlake who is notorious for being a perfectionist in his work, is taking his sweet time. In an interview with EW earlier this year, the star stated, “Anything moving forward, I’m not sure. I’ve been in and out of the studio, obviously, with some of my more frequent — and less frequent — collaborators. I guess I’m resigned to the fact that I’m a tortoise when it comes to this process. I can’t imagine doing it any other way. I just feel like it’s so important to never have the cart before the horse when it comes to making a record.”
He is in No Hurry to Release Music
Naturally, Justin Timberlake’s fans are wondering when his new album will see the light of the day. Insisting that he works at his own pace, JT shrugged off questions of a release date saying, “I think everyone I’m working with right now knows that I’m notorious for being like, ‘Yeah let’s work. I have no idea when I’ll put it out, though. I’ll put it out when it’s done — when it feels right.'”

Calling the album-making process “lovely,” Timberlake doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to release new tracks. It looks like he is loving being a dad to his one-year-old son Silas Randall Timberlake, “I’m working on it here and there, but I’m also enjoying being a dad. The answer to your question is, ‘I don’t know.'”
