Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie-Pitt has an estimated net worth of $145 million.

She was born to actor parents John Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. Along with husband Brad Pitt and their six children—Maddox (16), Zahara (10), Shiloh Nouvel (9), Pax Thien (11), and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline (7), the family includes three dogs: one pitbull named Jaques and two pugs.

Jointly with Pitt, the two are worth about $385 million. Jolie’s income is from films mostly, but she gets paid a whole lot for endorsing brands such as Louis Vuitton, who reportedly offered her a contract worth about $10 million in 2010. Her highest earning project to date has been Disney’s Maleficent, which released in 2014 and grossed $758.5 million worldwide. Not only was it the fourth highest grossing movie of that year, but it also became the highest-grossing movie of Jolie’s career to date. Her youngest daughter Vivienne portrayed young Princess Aurora in the film.

That’s not to say her other movies haven’t done well worldwide. Her 2010 film Salt grossed almost $300 million, 2008’s Wanted brought in $341.4 million, and 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith (with Brad Pitt) raked in $478.2 million.

The actress is believed to make anywhere from $7 million to 15 million for each film she does, taking on just one or two movies annually. With that kind of income, it’s easy to see why Jolie was one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses in 2015.

Angelina Jolie first made her debut in Hollywood in 1993 with the sci-fi thriller Cyborg 2; Glass Shadow, after which she starred in Hackers (1995), Hell’s Kitchen (1998), and The Bone Collector (1999), to name just a few. Her breakthrough came when she bagged the titular role in the Lara Croft series of movies starting with Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001. Jolie also produces and directs films. She began with the documentary A Place in Time in 2007 and made her first feature, In the Land of Blood and Honey in 2011.

Angelina Jolie’s net worth may be out of this world, but she has an extremely generous side to her as well, having donated millions for various causes. She also travels around the world to offer hands-on help. Along with Pitt, she co-founded the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation in 2006. When the celebrity couple’s twins, Knox and Vivienne were born in 2008, they sold the kids’ first photos for a whopping $14 million, all of which went into the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt own a $60 million mansion in Provence, France called Château Mirval. In fact, the word “mansion” might actually be an understatement—the estate has 35 bedrooms with a private lake, forest, vineyard, and even a moat. The power couple exchanged their wedding vows here in 2014. They also bought Villa Costanza in Valpolicella, Italy in 2010; it’s a grand 15-bedroom estate with its own screening room, multiple pools and Jacuzzis, and a private gym. And then there’s the lavish mansion in Richmond, West London that they purchased for $16 million in 2012.

Jolie also has a passion for flying planes. She owns a Cirrus SR-22 for which she obtained an official license. The plane is reportedly one of the fastest single-engine aircrafts in the world. Before she married Pitt, Jolie also splurged on getting her then-fiancé his own helicopter, complete with flying lessons. The family’s collection of cars has included a Range Rover, a Jaguar XJ, a Ford Explorer, a BMW Hydrogen 7, and a Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recent addition is a $300,000 Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition, which Jolie gifted to Pitt in 2015.

In addition to planes and cars, Jolie is also a collector of daggers, something she started doing when she was a kid—she’s also admitted to helping her son, Maddox, start his own collection of daggers when he was just seven years old.
