Legendary Hollywood icon Betty White will scrub in for Bones. The 93-year-old will make an appearance as Jeffersonian’s new “squintern” in the hit FOX television series’ upcoming 11th season.

The beloved multi-talented actress will star as Dr. Beth Mayer, who is called in to consult on a murder case linked to fantasy football, just one of her areas of expertise. The character is said to be accomplished and “sharp as a tack.”

Betty White broke the news herself on Twitter on August 27, writing, “Wanted to let you know first that I will be joining the @BONESonFOX family for an upcoming episode this fall! #Bones.”

Bones will premiere its new season six months after the finale of season 10. It will feature both its lead characters in new towns with new jobs, forced to reunite due to a murder case. Season 11 will air on October 11 on FOX.

While White’s series Hot in Cleveland recently wrapped up its sixth and final season, she isn’t done yet. Next in line is To Tell the Truth, where White will be a panel member alongside NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta. The host of ABC’s revamped game show will be Anthony Anderson.

White’s other TV ventures include Community, Life with Elizabeth, Boston Legal, and most notably, The Golden Girls—these are among a long list of other television and film appearances. Betty White may be 93, but she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
